WHERE ARE THE BEREAN CHRISTIANS?

Have you often heard the expression "Berean Christian"? It is highly recommended that Christians be "Berean Christians"...

Acts 17,10-11:

The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they entered the Synagogue of the JEWS. These JEWS were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily to see whether those things were so.

Can anyone help me find our beloved "Berean Christians"?

Because they are in fact the "JEWS OF BEREA"!

But I have difficulty seeing the evangelical clerical spirit saying "do like the Jews of Berea". There are no "Berean Christians" searching the Scriptures. Rather, they are the Jews of Berea!

The Jews search the TANAK, i.e.: the Torah (5 books of Moses), the Neviim (8 books of the Prophets) and the Ketuviim (11 hagiographic texts, sometimes called simply the Psalms).

The Jews of Berea did not search the "New Testament"!

Is this what we recommend to the "Berean Christians"... who don't exist!
