A TIME FOR DEATH... ANOTHER FOR MULTIPLICATION!

Man's earthly pilgrimage is divided into two major parts: the time of sowing and the time of harvest.

Genesis 8,22:

While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.

Sowing is the period of suffering caused by persevering efforts to secure a glorious harvest, a source of abundant joy and rest.

Psalm 126,5-6:

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. He who weeps when he bears seed returns with joy when he carries his sheaves. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Weeping or shedding tears is not proof that you won't have a harvest; it's just a testimony to the suffering of the battle you're waging today to secure that joy-filled future.

Romans 8,18:

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

John 12,24:

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

A single principle underpins this divine order:

Galatians 6,7b:

For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

2 Corinthians 9,6:

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Let's dwell on these last two verses, bearing in mind one quoted above. If "sowing" produces weeping and suffering according to Psalm 126:5-6, then this implies that "little" suffering produces "little" joy, and "much" suffering produces "much" joy, according to 2 Corinthians 9:6.

Hebrews 12,2:

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2 Timothy 2,6:

The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.

In fact, without maximum personal involvement in what you're pursuing, the results will be less. Don't run away from the cross, but give yourselves up to it; don't be followers of the law of least effort under the false pretext of grace.

Philippians 1,29:

For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.

There's a principle that says it takes at least 10,000 hours of work on a given subject or field to become a "master" or "expert" in that art or subject. But who is prepared to give themselves over to this pain, this suffering, on a continuous basis, until they see the fruit?

For you see, he who suffers while sowing is not a cursed person, even if he may be looked upon and considered as such; he is a "birther" and a "begetter" of a new world.

You are what your soul thinks you are. This means that you will be what your soul has worked for and accepted to suffer. You will reap what you have patiently suffered for.

James 5,10-11:

My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

Hebrews 10,35-36:

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Know how to persevere in your efforts. Tell yourself that you are bringing into existence what you have believed in.

Don't stop sowing, working towards the harvest you hope for, until it appears before your eyes.

Ecclesiastes 11,4-6:

He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything. In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.

Sow and sow again; work and work again; invest your soul in what you do, again and again.

Believe, more than others, in what you do.

Isaiah 53,11a:

He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied.

Colossians 3,3-4:

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

You have been called to reap God's glory. No less than that! May your sowing be equal to the harvest hoped for! May your work live up to the expected rest! May your investment match the expected return!

2 Corinthians 9,10:

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

Be workers with God. Be partners with God, who provides you with seed for the harvest. For the Lord of your harvest comes to you through the many opportunities He gives you to sow. Are you a hard-working ant or a singing cicada?

Work, invest and sow in view of the divine harvest in the field that the Word you received has assigned to you.

For after the time of suffering, after the time of sowing, after the time of weeping, comes the time of joy, comes the time of harvest, comes the time of laughter.

For after the cross comes the kingdom!

That's why Paul says "death is my gain" (Philippians 1:21).

James 5,7-8:

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Those who sell their soul, sell it because they lose patience.

Good meditation to all!
