STOP CHASING THE ONE WHO IS THE SOURCE OF YOUR TROUBLES

Wisdom has no qualms my friends, because she knows something that most of us refuse to see, living in a state of permanent denial, which is unfortunately maintained in our churches by the frequency of a certain type of teaching...

Wisdom knows this:

Isaiah 45,7:

I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create adversity; I, the LORD, do all these things.

Wisdom also knows:

Lamentations de Jeremiah 3,38:

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that woe and well-being proceed?

Wisdom also knows this:

Job 2,10:

But Job answered her, "You speak like a foolish woman. What! We receive good from God, and we would not also receive evil!

God is therefore Good, being the author of GOOD things, and God is also Evil, being the author of EVIL things.

But here's the thing, God is the translation of the Hebrew "Elohim", which means "judges, magistrates"! Justice is normally blind, as it relies solely on its scales, whose weights must be just right.

Now sing with me the Song of Grace, the Song of Channah (Hannah):

1 Samuel 2,3-9:

Speak no more with such haughtiness; Let no arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God who knows all things, and by him all deeds are weighed. The bow of the mighty is broken, and the weak are girded with strength. Those who were full praise themselves for bread, and those who were hungry rest; even the barren woman bears seven times, and she who had many children is withered. The LORD kills and makes alive; he brings down to Sheol and raises up. The Eternal makes poor, and He makes rich; He brings low, and He lifts up. Out of the dust He raises the poor, out of the dunghill He lifts up the needy, to make them sit among princes, and make them inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and He has set the world upon them. He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail.

It is the Lord, THE JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH, who does all these things!

The only phrase that seems to "touch" us is I suppose: "He will guard the footsteps of his beloved", Okay?

This word, beloved or saints, translates the Hebrew "Chassid" which means kind, pious, holy, full of mercy. It's a derivative of "Chessed", which speaks of divine love. It's also a derivative of "Chassad", meaning to bend, especially the neck.

This last reference takes us directly to the principle of the YOKE, which was placed around the necks of slaves, defeated kings and plough animals in particular.

This refers to Matthew 11,29:

Take my yoke upon you, receive my instructions and you will find rest for your souls.

In conclusion, we all say, without understanding its meaning, that "GOD IS LOVE", but what does that really mean?

Here is what that love is all about:

Revelation 3,19a:

I rebuke and chasten all those I LOVE.

Hebrews 12,5-8:

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not despise the CHASTENING [instruction] of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are REBUKED [corrected] by Him; FOR WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE CHASTENS [instructs], and scourges every son whom He receives. If you endure CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without CHASTENING, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Psalms 25,14:

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.

Now let's reread what touched us in the Song of Channah:

1 Samuel 2,9a:

He will guard the steps of his beloved.

What we need to read here is that He will guard (surround with a hedge of protection) His disciples, His students, the students of His secret. This is the key to Job's story!

And it's also the reason for "Go and make disciples of all nations".

To make disciples of "Christ in us, the hope of glory", the secret hidden in all ages, that is my mandate!

By the way, have you become a master-teacher?

By the way, have you become a disciple?

By the way, who is your master, your teacher?

By the way, how do you carry your yoke?

By the way, how long will your neck be stiff?

IN FACT, GOD IS LOVE...

HE IS NOT GOOD, HE IS NOT EVIL, HE IS LOVE!

When you're a child, you taste God is good (goodness). When He instructs you, you taste that God is evil (severity). When you become mature, you understand that GOD IS LOVE! (For "Vaheb en Supha" - "in the end, it is love" Numbers 21:14).

Happy meditation to all!
