COMING TO CHRIST AND COMING INTO CHRIST

When we read the Gospels, we see multitudes coming to Christ to be healed of their infirmities and other illnesses, and we also see people coming to him as a result of the astonishment at the many and varied miracles that characterize Yeshua's ministry.

In the end, coming to Christ isn't so complicated. In fact, it's like going to a doctor to receive the appropriate treatment for your illness.

This encounter is linked to a specific need: your health.

Coming to Christ is just as much linked to your present need: you go to Him for a Miracle, to find a solution to that problem that's robbing you of your Peace.

See for yourselves: Christ casts out unclean spirits, heals the sick, gives sight to the blind, gives hearing to the deaf, heals the paralyzed, cleanses lepers, raises the dead, cures all kinds of infirmities, feeds the multitudes and produces miraculous fishing...

Just reading this presentation, who wouldn't go to him for any of these needs?

Now, Coming to Christ is quite another thing, dear readers!!!!

It is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

We're a long way from "coming to Christ" to solve a problem! In fact, there's no need to have a problem to solve or a disease to heal, as the conditions for entering in Christ are of a different kind.

Indeed, it is written:

Matthew 16,24-25:

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Acts 14,22

Strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

In fact, there is a change of identity taking place here, for by entering in Christ, you become Christ, that Christ to whom multitudes come with their burdens to be unburdened.

Coming to Christ is about those in need.

Coming in Christ concerns Christ's disciples, those who are going to be Christ, master of solutions.

Those who come to Christ for salvation await Him outside the sanctuary, on the outer courts.

Those who come in Christ will be led inside the sanctuary, to the inner courts, to put on Christ and be nourished by His mind.
