THE TRUTH ABOUT DEATH

Christ says: "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

The promise for students of CHRIST'S CURSUS is that they will experience truth intimately.

Truth here comes from the Greek ALETHEIA which has the privative A meaning NO or NOT and LETHEIA which comes from LETHE meaning FORGETFULNESS. So ALETHEIA means NO FORGETFULNESS OR NOT-FORGETFUL.

Truth in Hebrew is called EMETH, which comprises the Privative Aleph meaning NO or NOT, followed by the letters MEM and TAV, which give the word MUTH meaning DEATH. So EMETH means NO DEATH OR NOT DEATH.

Now let's paraphrase the words of CHRIST:

"If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples; you will have the intimate experience that there is no death and this is what will set you free."

The reason for ALL THIS is in Genesis 2,17:

But you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely DIE.

ONE SAYS: "THERE IS DEATH".

THE OTHER SAYS: "NO DEATH".

ONE WANTS TO FREE YOU FROM THE YOKE OF THE OTHER...
