THE WORK OF JUSTICE WILL BE PEACE!

Dear friends, there are so many relationship dramas going on around us that it's worth pausing for a moment to try and find a solution, if not a cure.

The real question is: what is justice in a relationship?

The simplest answer is: the recognition of each other's value, the recognition of each other's weight in your life.

Do you know the weight in your life, on the scales of justice, of your husband, your wife, your friends, your partners, your Father or spiritual master, a colleague, etc.?

As an exercise, take a sheet of paper and try to list the person's works or what has happened to you thanks to or through them. Then ask yourself if your attitude towards them matches their weight in your life?

It's injustice that will provoke your next war, or that has provoked the current turmoil you're in! Be just and you'll have peace!

Proverbs 11,1:

Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.

Proverbs 16,11-12:

Honest weights and scales are the Lord’s; all the weights in the bag are His work. It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by righteousness.

Isaiah 32,17:

The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

Romans 14,17:

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

So many relationships are falling apart and breaking down. They involve couples as well as friends, boss-employee relationships as well as leaders and those who follow or serve them. The source is always injustice or a notorious lack of justice.

Proverbs 13,23b:

But such perish for lack of justice.

Isaiah 57,21:

There is no peace for the wicked, says my God.

Matthew 1,19:

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.

Jewish tradition calls Joseph "Ha Tsadiq", the Righteous One. The Gospel of glory teaches us about justice.

Romans 8,30:

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

1 John 2,29:

If you know that He is righteous, you KNOW that EVERYONE who practices righteousness is born of Him.

Acts 10,34:

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in EVERY NATION WHOEVER FEARS HIM and WORKS righteousness is accepted by Him.

So many lives are shattered, so many promising ministries burn their wings like Icarus, so many promising talents die far from the true purpose of their potential...

Do the exercise I mentioned above! Zacchaeus did it, and the Lord's verdict was in:

Luke 19,9:

And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.

Genesis 18,18-19:

since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord MAY BRING to Abraham WHAT HE HAS SPOKEN to him...

I repeat, be just!
