Psalms 128,3a et 4:
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the very heart of your house,… Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
Proverbs 5,18-19:
Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love.
Ecclesiaste 9,9:
Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun.
Ecclesiaste 2,8:
I also gathered for myself silver and gold and the special treasures of kings and of the provinces. I acquired male and female singers, the delights of the sons of men, women very many.
Ecclesiaste 10,19:
A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; But money answers everything.
Ecclesiaste 9,7:
Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.
When a man fears the Eternal, God's blessing takes on special forms, including making his wife like a fruitful vine.
The vine gives us the wine that makes life joyful. In fact, to the question: WHERE IS THE HAPPINESS, WHERE IS IT?
The answer is IN THE WOMAN!
Song of songs 2,4:
He brought me to the house of wine, and his banner over me was love.
Song of songs 5,1:
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
Esther, who had understood the reason for her accession to royalty, knew the intoxicating power of her wine to save her people.
Esther 7,2:
And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!
Proverbs 14,1:
The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
Naomi's secret, Ruth 3,3-4:
Therefore wash yourself and anoint yourself, put on your best garment and go down to the threshing floor; but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking. Then it shall be, when he lies down, that you shall notice the place where he lies; and you shall go in, uncover his feet, and lie down; and he will tell you what you should do.
The key to this blessing is in Psalms 128:4. The word "man" is translated from the Hebrew "Geber", which is the basis of "Gibor", meaning "valiant, warrior, man of war". We know that war is the intensive study of Torah. This blessing is therefore linked to students of YHVH's Word. Their wives have the capacity to delight them, to intoxicate them, as they become fruitful vines, producers of wine, the wine of LOVE.
But this blessing is absent from many a "Christian" home, so far removed from the spirit of Torah study are we from the ideology of Edom, which totally obscures the glory hidden in femininity.
So many broken couples, so many things left unsaid, so much suffering that has withered the vine to the point where it now produces vinegar = SOUR WINE and not SWEET WINE.
Madame, you are this man's happiness! His joy is in you! Monsieur, wake up! Your happiness is in your wife; your joy is in your wife! Take care of your vine so that it can give you the wine that intoxicates you! The wine that will make you forget your suffering!
